She was TOTALLY lip sync-ing!!! I was shocked!!!
Yup! At first I tried to give her some credit - Perhaps the audio/video could be off. But NOPE. She totally did. It was so perfectly perfect, not to mention being off by a half second at the end of every line, oh and the music - How unamerican! The National Anthem is done a capella. Gimmie a break.
I agree that she was lip syncing. I think many anthem performers do. It's too bad because she has the talent to sing it live.
Worst job ever too.. she obvious hasn't learned that if she's going to pretend to belt, she should really get your body into it a tad... She looked like she was just chilling out on those high-notes. So fake.
Definite lip sync. I can't believe it, brutal....
Alot more people lip sync during national anthems than you might think. It has nothing to do with being able to sing. The stadium speakers are just as loud if not louder than her own personal monitor. Have you ever been on a cell phone that when you spoke, it was delayed back to you??? bugs you huh?? imagine that...being delayed further and several times...AND trying to figure out if thats you singing, or the echo from the other side of the stadium...and on top of that..a camera showing a live feed 5 feet from your face that 90 million people are watching...i certainly couldnt critisize her for making sure she sounded good..we all now she CAN
