The Lost Bean is by far my favorite new coffee place. It's located on the corner of Irvine Blvd and Newport Blvd in Tustin, CA which is right on my drive to church everyday. It is an organic coffee house that is independently owned. I have been wanting a place to enjoy my morning java that isn't as corporate as Starbucks or even Peets. I also like that it is organic, but that's just a bonus for me.
Most of the other independent places that I have been in the OC just didn't have coffee I liked. I drink black dark coffee or an Americano. That's it. The Lost Bean's coffee is delicious and they have good pastries, even decent nonfat muffins.
Of course all of this will change when the new Calvary Church Bookstore and Coffee House is finished being remodeled. I love The Corner - Randy rules!

I gotta say that by far my favorite cup of coffee ever was made by this sexy mexican guy at the Calvary Coffee shop.... freakin amazing!!! ... and the coffee was good too!

mmmmmmm my favourite cofee!¿? and where!¿? .. well!! i love the cofee but being honest i usually dont go out to a couple of coffe .. i dont know why.. i like to stay at home with a couple of couffe made by myself and watching the tv.... i would like to have the kind of friends to go out and find a nice place... but mostly of the people.. young people like me . i mean.. use there time in dancing and dont have really much time to thing and the simple things of the life...=)... and when u find people like u .. they dont have time...=) .. world is.crazy ha!¿?

i went to sturbucks once.. but like u said. i dont like that kind of places ... i think STURBUCKS is allllll name and No Feeling.... i dont know .. they have good cofee.. but people go there because is STARBUCKS .... stupid ha!¿?.... i dont know in ur country but here in Peru, yes am from Peru, sturbucks is a little expensive place.. so!! if u go there u ar interesting.. lol!! thats really stupid.. but here seems to work....
i prefer like i said friends... coffee.. good and honestly conversations.. it dosnt matter the place =)

how weird is this... I'm sitting at the lost bean.. Surfing the web, reading blogs, and I see your post about this... This has been Tom & my FAVorite place for about a year now... LOVE them, love the regulars, have made some new friends here even. The owner is an awesome guy.
Maybe we'll see you here sometime....
